The Changing Times

December 29th, 2011 No comments

The New Year can bring a lot of change to our lives. In an effort to help alleviate overcrowding issues at our current services, we are shifting our service times in hope that we’ll have more balanced attendance.

Beginning January 1st, 2012 our new Sunday Service times are 9am, 10:15am, 11:30am, & 7:30pm.
WildKingdom & UpTown will be at the 10:15am and 11:30am services ONLY

We want you to stay connected in the new year. The best way to keep you updated on all the latest around here is through TXTSIGNAL.
It’s really simple: enter your name, cell number, and carrier (At&t, Verizon, T-mobile, etc.) and we’ll send you a text message to keep you in the loop.
And we won’t EVER spam your phone or give your information away to anyone.
With winter on the way, we keep you informed if there’s been a change in services due to inclement weather.

Get Connected

May 13th, 2011 No comments

Sunday mornings at True North are fun, but we know it can be difficult to meet other people.

Community Groups are an integral part of what we do as a church. Our Sunday services are only a small part of the big picture, we want every person who attends True North to get plugged into a Community Group. Community Groups are weekly gatherings, usually at people’s homes, to talk about life & faith.

If you’d like more information a community group, click here.

The BEST way to stay in touch with what’s happening around True North is TXTsignal.

Click HERE give us your name, cell number, and carrier (Verizon, At&t, etc.) and we’ll send you 1 txt message a week to keep you informed.
We WON’T spam you or give your information away and you can opt out at anytime.

Last Sunday @ the Sheraton Hotel

January 19th, 2011 No comments

This Sunday, January 23rd will be our last Sunday service at the Sheraton Hotel.
They’ve been fantastic hosts allowing us to us their facility as we’re in the process of building our own.

An opportunity has opened up for us to have services at a location where our church can stay set up PERMANENTLY until our building is finished.
This means no more 5:30am Sunday mornings unloading and reloading a truck for church.
We are allowed to use this facility for our evening service, Elevate (7:30pm)
This location is also MUCH closer to our new building, the location is (drumroll please)…..

2005 Orville Drive North in Ronkonkoma

Our first Sunday here will be January 30th.

FAQ:

Wait, so this isn’t the new building?
no, but this is the last time we will have to move our church before getting into the new building.

Are service times the same?
yup, Morning Services are 9:30am & 11am, Evening Service at 7:30pm.

Will you still have Uptown / Wild Kingdom?
yes, you can still drop the kids off and they’ll have an awesome time.

Will I still get my coffee, bagel, donut, fresh Maine lobster (etc.)?
Of course!

Look, this is all just a bit much for me. How can I stay on top of the latest updates from you guys?
I’m glad you asked! We use a program called TXTSIGNAL to keep in touch with people who attend True North.
We send out 1 text a week keeping you in the loop on any and all changes that might be happening in our church.

Interested? signup is simple, click HERE enter your name, phone number, & carrier (AT&T, Verizon, etc.)

We won’t give out your info to anyone AND we won’t spam you with text messages either.
